This is the hashtags class presentation I did for free college day..

I had one student that was terrified to make a hashtag – so I had her make one on my class on my @geekymarkter twitter feed…she was still terrified to do it – afraid someone might know she did it.

Had two women in the class that are rock stars on Instagram. They helped explain why they use hashtags and we had a discussion about how if you use 9 or more hashtags on Instagram on a post that you get shared more. They also informed me that if you use 30+ hashtags on Instagram you effectively cut your image from being shared. The hashtags kinda go under the fold which is not what you want.
